देश की उचित सामाजिक और आर्थिक वृद्धि के लिए स्त्री शिक्षा बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है। पुरुष और महिला दोनों सिक्के के दो पहलू की तरह हैं और समाज के दो पहियों की तरह समान रूप से चलते हैं। इसलिए दोनों देश में विकास और विकास के महत्वपूर्ण तत्व हैं और इस प्रकार शिक्षा में समान अवसर की आवश्यकता है। यदि दोनों में से कोई भी नकारात्मक पक्ष लेता है, तो सामाजिक प्रगति संभव नहीं है।

इतिहास में भारत के पिछले वर्षों में, महिलाओं की तुलना में पुरुषों में साक्षरता दर अधिक थी। ब्रिटिश राज से भारत की स्वतंत्रता के समय में, साक्षर महिलाओं का प्रतिशत कुल महिला जनसंख्या का केवल 2-6% था। भारत गणराज्य की स्थापना के बाद, सरकार महिलाओं की शिक्षा को बहुत महत्व दी है।
महिलाओं को स्कूल जाने से रोकने वाले कारक
कुछ साल पहले, महिलाओं को रसोई और बच्चों को संभालने के लिए माना जाता था। यदि महिलाओं को शिक्षित किया जाता था तो एक गलतफहमी थी कि वह हिंदू परिवार की प्रणाली को समाप्त कर देगी। दूसरा कारण अहंकार है जो ज्यादातर पुरुषों द्वारा किया जाता है यदि महिलाएं पुरुषों की तुलना में उच्च शिक्षित हैं तो पुरुषों के अहंकार को चोट लगी थी। कुछ क्षेत्रों में गरीबी के कारण माता-पिता अपने बच्चों को शिक्षा के लिए अनुमति नहीं देते हैं।
भारत में स्त्री शिक्षा का महत्व और लाभ
भारत में महिला शिक्षा देश के भविष्य के लिए अत्यधिक आवश्यक है क्योंकि महिलाएं अपने बच्चों की पहली शिक्षिका का अर्थ है राष्ट्र का भविष्य। यदि महिलाओं की शिक्षा को अनदेखा किया जा रहा है, तो यह राष्ट्र के उज्ज्वल भविष्य से अनभिज्ञ होगा। एक अशिक्षित महिला सक्रिय रूप से परिवार को संभालने, बच्चों की उचित देखभाल और इस तरह कमजोर भविष्य की पीढ़ी में भाग नहीं ले सकती है। हम महिला शिक्षा के सभी फायदों को नहीं गिना सकते।
एक शिक्षित महिला अपने परिवार को आसानी से संभाल सकती है, प्रत्येक परिवार के सदस्य को जिम्मेदार बना सकती है, बच्चों में अच्छे गुणों का संचार कर सकती है, सामाजिक कार्यों में भाग ले सकती है और सभी उसे सामाजिक और आर्थिक रूप से स्वस्थ राष्ट्र की ओर ले जाएंगे।
एक आदमी को शिक्षित करके, केवल एक आदमी को शिक्षित किया जा सकता है लेकिन एक महिला को शिक्षित करने से, पूरे देश को शिक्षित किया जा सकता है। नारी शिक्षा का अभाव समाज के शक्तिशाली हिस्से को कमजोर करता है। तो, महिलाओं को शिक्षा के लिए पूर्ण अधिकार होना चाहिए और उन्हें पुरुषों से नीच नहीं माना जाना चाहिए।
1. शिक्षा स्त्री को आत्मविश्वास और आत्म-सम्मान प्रदान करती है :- शिक्षा लड़कियों के लिए आत्मविश्वास, आत्म-सम्मान प्रदान करती है और वे अपनी क्षमता की खोज कर सकते हैं और नए विचारों और नवाचार के साथ आए और लिंग भेदभाव के लिए अपने प्रतिरोध को बढ़ा सकते हैं। वह अपने फैसले अशोभनीय तरीके से ले सकती है। शिक्षित महिलाएं स्वतंत्र होती हैं।
2. परिवार को अधिक लाभ :- महिलाओं को शिक्षित होने पर परिवार को अधिक लाभ मिलता है। यदि एक महिला शिक्षित है तो पूरा घर शिक्षित है। उसने शिक्षा के माध्यम से ज्ञान प्राप्त किया जो कि वह बेहतर चाइल्डकैअर के लिए आवेदन कर सकती है, जिसका अर्थ है उचित टीकाकरण, बच्चे की स्कूली शिक्षा आदि। स्त्री शिक्षा के कारण 1970 से 1995 के बीच बाल कुपोषण में कमी आई थी। शिक्षित महिलाएँ परिवार की आय और परिवार की स्थिति को बढ़ा सकती हैं और परिवार की समस्याओं को हल करने में सक्षम हो सकती हैं।
3. समुदाय और समाज को लाभ:- सामाजिक स्थिरता से संबंधित समस्याओं के समाधान खोजने के लिए महिला शिक्षा के कारण समुदाय और समाज अधिक समृद्ध हो जाते हैं। उत्तरजीविता दर, स्कूली शिक्षा और सामुदायिक उत्पादकता में माँ और शिशु मृत्यु दर में कमी के साथ महिलाओं की शिक्षा का परिणाम बढ़ रहा है।
4. देश को लाभ:- शिक्षित महिला आर्थिक चुनौतियों का सामना करके देश के प्रति महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा सकती है जैसे कि कृषि उत्पादन, खाद्य आत्मनिर्भरता, पर्यावरण की गिरावट के खिलाफ लड़ाई पानी और ऊर्जा के उपयोग और संरक्षण के लिए।
