अलीगढ़। मंगलायतन विश्वविद्यालय के डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ विजुअल एंड परफोर्मिंग आर्टस द्वारा चित्रकला कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य छात्र-छात्राओं को चित्रकला की बारीकियों से अवगत कराना था। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ कुलपति प्रो. केवीएसएम कृष्णा द्वारा किया गया। कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि चित्रकार भारत भूषण शर्मा थे।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान विभागाध्यक्ष डा. पूनम रानी ने मुख्य अतिथि का परिचय कराते हुए उनकी चित्रकारिता एवं शैली पर प्रकाश डाला। मुख्य अतिथि भारत भूषण ने छात्र-छात्राओं को चित्रकला के विभिन्न माध्यम और उनकी बारीकियों को समझाया। इस दौरान उन्होंने चित्र बनाकर भी दिखाए। कार्यशाला में करीब 40 छात्र-छात्राओं ने भाग लिया और चित्रकला की तकनीकी जानकारी प्राप्त की। कार्यक्रम का संचालन प्रो. देवाशीष चक्रवर्ती ने किया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान जय नारायण, डा. रामकृष्ण घोस, प्रो. विलास पालके, प्रेमलता, असिस्टेंट प्रो. उदय सिंह आदि मौजूद रहे।
