On 23 January 2023, on 126th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, students of the National Service Scheme organized road safety campaign where they formed human chain and pledge to follow traffic rules. Mangalayatan University received the status of Jain minority educational institute by the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions, Ministry of Education, Government of India. After receiving minority status, the faculty and the staff expressed their pleasure and welcomed this decision. Significantly, Mangalayatan University follows the principle of Jain religion and after this minority status, Jain religion will get more power and status.
