350 students to get free education every year in Mangalayatan: VC

Mangalayatan University management has taken a unique initiative, under which 350 girl students who are unable to study will be provided free education. In this, approximately Rs 5 crore will be spent by the university. Keeping in view the need, two new courses B.Sc Forensic Science and B.Sc Fire and Safety course will be started from the current session. The process of its recognition has been started. A job fair is being organized on March 5, in which the youth of the university as well as the surrounding areas will get an opportunity. A plan to organize a book fair is also proposed. These things were said by the Vice Chancellor of Mangalayatan University, Prof. PK Dashora said in the press conference. He said that the field of education is very broad. Sports and cultural programs are a special part of education. With education Without the development of sports, all-round development of the student is not possible. Keeping this idea in mind Mangalayatan University organizes the annual festival “Atharva”. This year the sports festival “Colosseum” and cultural festival were jointly organized. Students have performed well in various
sports competitions. Today Atharva has become synonymous with cultural development for the students in the
university. The students who are victorious here will be prepared in a better way and sent to perform at the national and international level. Registrar Brigadier Samarveer Singh said that the campus of the university is a
reflection of the quality standards of education and development of the students. Sports include cricket, tug of war, kabaddi, kho-kho, lawn tennis, running, long jump, triple jump, shot put, discus throw, javelin throw, hammer. Players have performed excellently in throwing.
