The Faculty of Management and Commerce of Mangalayatan University organized the Jan Chetna Yatra in village Mirzapur under the Jan Jagran drug de-addiction campaign. The students raised the flame of de-addiction and urged the villagers to give up the bad habit of drug addiction. During the yatra, they passed through the streets of the village raising slogans like TB, cancer is the ladder of death, stop this Gutkha-Bidi, drug addiction is the root of destruction, brother, he set the house on fire, etc.

The students reached village Mirzapur and discussed with the villagers how to make India drug-free. Pro. Siddharth Jain said that wrong lifestyle habits, smoking, and alcohol consumption increase the risk of cancer. To stay healthy, one needs to avoid smoking. Drug abuse causes social, economic, and mental harm.
