Youth Games All India National Championship was organized by Youth Games Federation of India from January 31 to February 2 at MKCS Sports Complex, New Delhi. In the championship, along with players from different parts of the country, Anuj Sharma, a B.Tech student of Mangalayatan University, participated in the senior doubles category.
Anuj Sharma registered victory by defeating his opponent 21-17. He won the gold medal by securing first place. Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. PK Dashora honored Anuj Sharma by giving him gold medal and certificate. Along with the Vice Chancellor, Registrar Brigadier Samarveer Singh, Controller of Examinations Prof. Dinesh Sharma, Dr. Siddharth Jain, Dr. Javed Wasim, coach Sartaj Khan, Luv Mittal expressed happiness and wished for the bright future of the player.
