मंगलायतन विश्वविद्यालय में कार्यकारी परिषद की 33 वीं बैठक संपन्न हुई। कुलपति प्रो. पीके दशोरा की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित बैठक में कई मुद्दों पर मंथन के बाद निर्णय लिए गए। विद्यार्थी के हित के साथ प्राध्यापकों के हित पर चर्चा की गई। बैठक में कार्यकारी परिषद के सदस्यों के साथ प्रो. महेश चंद्र शर्मा व प्रो. विकास चड्ढा भी उपस्थित रहे। कुलपति ने इसी वर्ष विश्वविद्यालय को राष्ट्रीय मूल्यांकन और प्रत्यायन परिषद (नैक) से ए प्लस ग्रेड मिलने पर हर्ष व्यक्त किया। वहीं, हाल ही में विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग (यूजीसी) द्वारा विवि को ऑनलाइन कोर्स की मंजूरी दिए जाने की जानकारी साझा की।
बैठक में डा. सौरभ मिश्रा, डा. अमित मिश्रा व प्रो. आरके शर्मा की पुस्तक ‘इंपैक्ट ऑफ फास्ट फूड ऑन ह्यूमन हेल्थ’ एवं ‘दा मेटाबोलिक पजल’ का विमोचन किया गया। कुलपति सहित सभी सदस्यों ने प्राध्यापकों को पुस्तक के प्रकाशन के लिए शुभकामनाएं प्रेषित की। डा. सौरभ मिश्रा ने बताया कि पुस्तक में आज कल बच्चों में फास्ट फूड और जंक फूड के सेवन से हो रही बीमारियों के बारे में बताने के साथ ही अभिभावकों को जागरूक किया गया है।
कुलसचिव बिग्रेडियर समरवीर सिंह ने विश्वविद्यालय की नवीन गतिविधियों पर विस्तार से चर्चा की। वहीं बैठक में राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति के कार्यान्वयन, शिक्षण शुल्क नीति, हॉस्टल शुल्क, यातायात शुल्क, एकेडमिक कलेंडर आदि के साथ ही शिक्षण संस्था व इकाइयों के मध्य सामंजस्य बनाए जाने तथा समयनुकुल आवश्यकता आधारित शिक्षा तथा शोध कार्यों की गुणवत्ता के एजेंडा पर चर्चा हुई। बैठक में परीक्षा नियंत्रक प्रो. दिनेश शर्मा, वित्त अधिकारी मनोज गुप्ता, डीन एकेडमिक प्रो. अब्दुल वदूद, प्रो. महेश कुमार, डा. राजेश उपाध्याय, डा. अशोक उपाध्याय, डा. दीपशिखा सक्सेना, राजेश पंचासरा आदि उपस्थित रहे।
