मंगलायतन विश्वविद्यालय के कम्युनिटी रेडियो स्टेशन रेडियो नारद 90.4 एफएम व स्मार्ट संस्था नई दिल्ली के संयुक्त तत्वाधान में गांव किला में द टीबी चेलेंज कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम पत्रकारिता एवं जन संचार विभाग के विभागाध्यक्ष डा. संतोष गौतम के निर्देशन में हुआ। जिसमें ग्रामीणों को क्षय रोग के संबंध में जागरुक किया गया।
कार्यक्रम की मुख्य अतिथि मंगलायतन आयुर्वेदा मैडिकल काॅलेज एंड रिसर्च सेंटर की प्राचार्या डा. कुमुदिनी पवार ने कहा कि क्षय रोग का इलाज संभव है। लेकिन इसका समय से और पूर्ण उपचार आवश्यक है। एक सप्ताह से अधिक खांसी होने पर नजदीकी स्वास्थ्य केंद्र पर जांच कराए। सरकार द्वारा क्षय रोग मुक्त भारत बनाने का अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। इसके तहत मरीज को निःशुल्क जांच व इलाज मिलता है। इस दौरान ग्रामीणों ने टीबी हारेगा देश जीतेगा का नारा दिया और अन्य लोगों को भी क्षय रोग के संबंध में जागरुक करने का संकल्प लिया। कार्यक्रम का संचालन आरजे वीर प्रताप सिंह ने किया। कार्यक्रम में ज्ञानेंद्र व दीपशिखा का सहयोग रहा। इस अवसर पर भारती, सलमा, संगीता, आशा, ममता, राखी, पुष्पेंद्र, सियाराम आदि उपस्थित रहे।
