Babasaheb took out many newspapers to raise the voice of Dalits!

Aligarh. Babasaheb believed that media is the mirror of the society, and has a big role in the development of the society, but Babasaheb always got disappointed with the Indian media. He believed that Indian media has always neglected the Dalit society. Dalit society will have to bring out its own newspaper to raise the voice of the fight for their rights.

Babasaheb edited the newspapers named Mooknayak, Bahishkrit Bharat, Janata and Prabuddha Bharat in his life. Dr. Santosh Kumar Gautam, Chairman, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication said these things in a program organized on Ambedkar Jayanti.

Journalism and Mass Communication Department of Mangalayatan University organized a seminar on Ambedkar Jayanti at Sumangalam Hostel on Thursday. Addressing the seminar, Dr. Gautam said that Dr. Ambedkar is the messiah of all Indians, he has made an invaluable contribution in the making of India.

It is the constitution that makes us special from all the countries of the world. Students also expressed their views on this occasion. Sanjeev Kumar, an alumnus from Madhya Pradesh said that Babasaheb achieved success by fighting in difficult circumstances. We need to take inspiration from their life, do not run away from difficulties but face them firmly, only then success will come.

On the occasion many students including Hostel Warden Unni Krishnan, Anju Kumari, Poonam Sankhwar, Deepak Yadav, Ankita, Sachin, Sartul, Naman, Rishika, Rachi, Divya, Nandani, Sneha participated in the program.
