Mangalayatan University received the status of Jain minority educational institute by the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions, Ministry of Education, Government of India. After receiving minority status, the faculty and the staff expressed their pleasure and welcomed this decision. Significantly, Mangalayatan University follows the principle of Jain religion and after this minority status, Jain religion will get more power and status. The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. P.K Dashora expressed his pleasure and said this became possible due to the collective effort of university staff and faculty.
