मंगलायतन विश्वविद्यालय के कम्युनिटी रेडियो स्टेशन रेडियो नारद 90.4 एफएम व स्मार्ट संस्था नई दिल्ली के संयुक्त तत्वाधान में गांव गंगागढ़ी में द टीबी चेलेंज कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम पत्रकारिता एवं जन संचार विभाग के विभागाध्यक्ष डा. संतोष गौतम के निर्देशन में हुआ। जिसमें ग्रामीणों को क्षय रोग के संबंध में जागरुक किया गया।
कार्यक्रम में रेडियो के माध्यम से ग्रामीणों को क्षय रोग की जानकारी दी गई। उन्हें बताया गया कि लक्षण दिखने पर क्षय रोग की जांच अवश्य कराएं। अब क्षय रोग का इलाज असंभव नहीं है। एक सप्ताह से अधिक खांसी होने पर नजदीकी स्वास्थ्य केंद्र पर जांच करा सकते हैं। सरकार ने भी क्षय रोग मुक्त भारत बनाने का अभियान चलाया है। अभियान के तहत मरीज को निःशुल्क जांच व उपचार मिलता है। इस दौरान ग्रामीणों ने टीबी हारेगा देश जीतेगा का नारा दिया और अन्य लोगों को भी क्षय रोग के संबंध में जागरुक करने का संकल्प लिया। कार्यक्रम का संचालन आरजे वीर प्रताप सिंह ने किया। कार्यक्रम में कम्यूनिटी हेल्थ अधिकारी बिजेंद्र सिंह, ममता देवी, रजनी देवी, सरोज, कुशुम, दीपक चैधरी, अब्दुल कलाम, दीपक सिंह, सताक्षी, शैलेष्टी का सहयोग रहा।
