आज के समय में जितने भौतिक संसाधन बढ़ रहे है उसके साथ साइबर अपराध में भी बढ़ोतरी हो रही है। जागरुकता के अभाव में लोग साइबर अपराध के शिकार हो जाते हैं। साइबर अपराध से बचने का सबसे बड़ा उपाय जागरुकता है। यह बातें बुधवार को मंगलायतन विश्वविद्यालय में साइबर अपराध जागरूकता कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए अलीगढ़ की साइबर क्राइम सेल के डीवाइएसपी मौ. मोहसीन खान ने कहीं। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों को साइबर अपराधियों द्वारा प्रयोग की जाने वाली विधि फेसबुक हैकिंग, आधार कार्ड व ओटीपी से होने वाले फ्रॉड, सोशल साइटों का सावधानीपूर्वक प्रयोग करने के बारे में विस्तार से बताया। वहीं हेल्पलाइन नंबर 1930 की भी जानकारी दी। विद्यार्थियों द्वारा साइबर अपराध से बचाव को लेकर सवाल पूछे जिसका उन्होंने जवाब दिया।
कुलसचिव बिग्रे. समरवीर सिंह ने विद्यार्थियों को समाज में साइबर अपराध और सुरक्षा के बारे में जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि समाज में पैर पसारता साइबर अपराध समजा के लिए बड़ी समस्या बनता जा रहा है। सायबर अपराध के प्रति जागरुक होकर और समाज को जाग्रत कर इस समस्या से प्रभावी रुप से बचा जा सकता है। यह दायित्व सभी नागरिकों को निभाना है। प्रो. जयंतीलाल जैन, प्रशासनिक अधिकारी गोपाल राजपूत, वित्त अधिकारी मनोज गुप्ता ने अतिथियों का स्वागत किया। विद्यार्थियों ने कार्यक्रम में सक्रिय रूप से भाग लिया और साइबर अपराध और सुरक्षा के बारे में जागरूकता प्राप्त की। संयोजक प्रो. सिद्धार्थ जैन ने आभार व्यक्त किया। समन्वयक लव मित्तल रहे। संचालन वीर प्रताप ने किया। इस अवसर पर इंस्पेक्टर विजय सिंह, एसआई रंजीत कुमार, दिनेश यादव व अमित कुमार के साथ ही प्रो. देवप्रकाश दहिया, डा. विकास शर्मा, डा. सोनी सिंह, राजेश पंचासरा, रामगोपाल सिंह, जितेंद्र कुमार आदि उपस्थित रहे।
