Republic Day Celebrated with Pomp and Grandeur

The 74th Republic Day of India was celebrated with gaiety and patriotic fervour at Mangalayatan University Aligarh amidst the foggy morning of 26th January, 2023. The ceremony took place in the presence of the Vice Chancellor Pro. PK Dashora and the Registrar Brigadier Samar Veer Singh, Deans and HoDs of various departments, faculty, staff members and students.

The ceremony commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Vice Chancellor Pro. PK Dashora. This was accompanied by the rendition of National Anthem led by the University’s Music Club. The programme moved forward with an incredible display of parade by the National Cadet Corps(NCC) cadets and mesmerizing cultural events that enhanced the grace of the festival manifold. In addition, the heartfelt renditions of patriotic songs aroused feelings of love and brotherhood among all.

Pro. PK Dashoraaddressed the gathering and highlighted the significance and achievements of Indian democracy. He underscored the steps the University has taken to ensure an overall development of its students and took pride in excellent progress of the University. In addition, he emphasized upon the quality education which would help in the development of the city and the country at large. He briefly discussed the issues that the nation is currently facing and urged everyone to unite and stand against them.

Controller of Examination Dr. Dinesh Sharma, Administrative Officer Gopal Rajput, Prof. Venkat, Prof. Jayanti Lal Jain, Prof. Ullas Gurudas, Prof. Ashok Purohit, Prof. Ankur Aggarwal, Prof. Siddharth Jain, Prof. Saurabh Kumar, Dr. Ramkumar Pathak, Dr. Santosh Gautam, Mayank Pratap Singh, Tarun Sharma, Nivedna Tomar, Shishupal Singh, Vilas Phalke, Devashish Chakraborty etc. were present at the event.
