अलीगढ़। मंगलायतन विश्वविद्यालय परिसर में चल रहे कोलोजियम स्पोर्टस फेस्ट 2022-23 का सफलतापूवर्क समापन हुआ। मुख्य अतिथि कुलपति प्रो. पीके दशोरा ने खिलाड़ियों को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि खिलाड़ी अपनी जीत सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कठिन प्रयास करते हैं। कुछ खिलाड़ी जीत जातें है और कुछ को कोई स्थान नहीं मिलता। जीतना या हारना मुख्य नही है, खेल में सहभागिता आवश्यक है। प्रो. देवप्रकाश दहिया ने कहा कि खेल को खेल भावना से खेलना चाहिए।
खेल महोत्सव का आयोजन शारीरिक शिक्षा एवं खेल शिक्षक डा. शिव कुमार के निर्देशन मे हुआ। उन्होंने बताया कि खेल महोत्सव में करीब 370 छात्र व 40 छात्राओं ने प्रतिभाग किया। वैडमिंटन में अनुज शर्मा व रचित सपारिया ने प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त, कुनाल व रनबहादुर ने द्वितीय एवं यश जादौन व अभिषेक राज ने तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया। 400 मीटर दौड़ में हेमंत ठेनुआं प्रथम, उमेश द्वितीय, सैलेश तृतीय स्थान पर रहे। बालीवॉल में बीएससी एग्रीकल्चर टीम को हराकर बॉल बूस्टर टीम विजयी रही। 10 टीमों के मध्य कांटे की टक्कर रही। क्रिकेट में इगलास टीम ने एमयू रायडर टीम को हराकर जीत दर्ज की। जिसमें श्रीकांत शर्मा ने 37 वॉल में 108 रन बनाए। इस अवसर पर प्रो. आरके शर्मा, डा. संजय पाल, अभिषेक गुप्ता, सोनू कुमार, स्वेता भारद्वाज आदि ने खिलाड़ियों को प्रोत्साहित किया। प्रतियोगिता में मनू उपाध्याय, पुलकित उपाध्याय, कार्तिकेय भारद्वाज, थाहा मुस्तफा, अनुज शर्मा, आरती सिंह, भूमिका, प्रियांशी, कुनाल, रनबहादुर, पीयूष, मधुकांत शर्मा ने महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। विजयी प्रतिभागियों को मेडल व शील्ड प्रदान कर पुरस्कृत किया गया।
