The work of Nurses is of Dedication and Responsibility

World Nursing Day was celebrated at Mangalayatan University on Thursday. On this day, Foundation Day of the Nursing Course and Orientation Day was also celebrated in the university. The speakers praised the work done by nurses, while highlighting the history of Nursing Day.

The program was inaugurated by Chief Guest, Vice Chancellor Prof. KVSM Krishna, by lighting a lamp in front of Goddess Saraswati and in front of Florence Nightingale. The Vice Chancellor said that the work of nurses is of great dedication and responsibility, and that Nursing has been describes as one of the best professions. The spirit of a Nurse is to instill the confidence to make impossible tasks possible and raise awareness in the field of health.

Better facilities are now being provided in the university along with the highest educational standards of nursing, so that even after leaving here the students can serve the society and the country as a great nursing professional.

Group Registrar Brigadier Samarveer Singh appreciated the global recognition given to work of nurses in various fields across the world. He encouraged and congratulated the students who opted for Nursing course. Dean Academic, Ullas Gurudas said that nurses provide their services not only in their own country but all over the world. No medical service is complete without nursing.

Prof. Jayantilal Jain ,Dean, Faculty of Humanities appreciated the courage and contribution of the nurses during the COVID Pandemic.

Dr. Dinesh Sharma, Controller of Examinations praised the entire educational process while giving information of how the university was providing a good environment and high quality education to all its students. Earlier, a play was also staged by the girl students, performing,  Mother Saraswati Vandana and showcasing ‘Unity in Diversity’. Student Vaishali Bhardwaj threw light on the life of Florence Nightingale.

 Ajita gathered a lot of applause by performing a solo dance performance while, Anamika, Ruchi  along with their teammates performed  group dance. The students introduced themselves on the stage. Program coordinator Sudha Gautam thanked the students for participation. It was conducted and managed by Dr. Niyet Sharma.

On this occasion Dr. Manoj Pataria, Dr. Ankur Agarwal, Manoj Gupta, Dr. Rajiv Sharma, Dr. Siddharth Jain, Dr. Deepshikha Saxena, Dr. Santosh Gautam, Dr. Anurag Shakya, Mayank Singh etc. were also present.
