मंगलायतन विश्वविद्यालय ईडीआई अहमदाबाद के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में तीन दिवसीय उद्यमिता जागरूकता शिविर का शुभारंभ कुलपति प्रो. केवीएसएम कृष्णा ने दीप प्रज्जवल करके किया। अपने उद्बोधन में प्रतिभागियों को संबोधित करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि उद्यमिता अब वंशवाद पर निर्भर नही रही है। उद्यमिता ज्ञान एवं कौशल का विषय है, समाज का कोई भी व्यक्ति जो जोखिम लेने एवं प्रबंधन करने में सक्षम है, सफल उद्यमी बन सकता है। कार्याशाला के प्रथम सत्र में राष्ट्रीय लघुउद्योग निगम अलीगढ़ के महाप्रबंधक टीएस राजपूत ने छात्रों को उद्यमिता की बारीकियों को समझाया। कार्याशाला के संयोजन प्रो. राजीव शर्मा ने अतिथियों का स्वागत करते हुए कहा कि हम विश्वविद्यालय के विद्यार्थियों के ज्ञानवर्धन हेतु भविष्य मे भी इस प्रकार के शिविरों का आयोजन करेंगे। मध्यांतर के उपरांत द्वितीय सत्र में उद्यमिता के गुर सिखाते हुए प्रो. राजीव शर्मा ने देश की अर्थव्यवस्था मे उद्यमिता के अवसर एवं योगदान विषय पर व्याख्यान दिया। अंतिम सत्र में शोध विभाग के डीन प्रो. रविकांत ने उद्यमिता में अनुसंधान की उपयोगिता एवं मिलने वाले व्यावसायिक लाभों का वर्णन किया। कार्यशाला समन्वयक राजेश पंचसारा ने डीएसटी नीमट द्वारा उद्यमिता विकास की इस पहल का वर्णन करते हुए सूक्ष्म एवं लघु उद्योगों की प्रासंगिकता के बारे में बताया। कार्यशाला में 85 प्रतिभागियों ने भाग लिया। आयोजक का दायित्व प्रो. सिद्धार्थ जैन, लव मित्तल ने संभाला एवं संचालन मोहित बंसल ने किया। कार्यशाला में प्रो. अनुराग शाक्या, प्रो. सौरभ कुमार, प्रो. अंकुर अग्रवाल, डा. अर्पित, डा. अरसलान, डा. नियति एवं विकास वर्मा ने भी भाग लिया। परीक्षा नियंत्रक प्रो. दिनेश शर्मा व प्रशासनिक अधिकारी गोपाल राजपूत का सहयोग रहा।
