अलीगढ़। मंगलायतन विश्वविद्यालय के दर्शन विभाग के प्रो. जयंतीलाल जैन द्वारा अंग्रेजी में रचित ग्रंथ नियमसार का कुलपति प्रो. केवीएसएम कृष्णा ने विमोचन किया। ग्रंथ करीब दो हजार वर्ष पहले कुंदकुंद आचार्य ने प्राकृत में लिखा था। बाद में संस्कृत टीका में लिखा गया और हिंदी में अनुवादित किया गया। अंग्रेजी में उक्त ग्रंथ को अब उपलब्ध कराया गया है। पुस्तक का संपादन मद्रास विश्वविद्यालय के जैन दर्शन विभाग के डा. प्रियदर्शना जैन ने किया है।
कुलपति ने बताया कि यह पुस्तक दर्शन विभाग के पाठ्यक्रम के अंतर्गत बहुत ही उपयोगी है। विदेशों में विश्वविद्यालय में भारतीय दर्शन पढ़ाया जाता है। किंतु कई विषयों में संदर्भ प्राथमिक साहित्य की कमी बनी रहती है। पुस्तक का विषय वस्तु भी घटना में उसके कारण-कार्य की भूमिका ही रहती है। कारण समझने के बाद कार्य की सिद्धि करना सहज हो जाता है। अध्यात्म में भी आगे बढ़ने के लिए कार्य-कारण की व्यवस्था समझना ही सभी नियमों का सार है। जैसे शक्कर डालने पर दूध-चाय मीठे अवश्य हो जाते हैं, वैसे ही आत्मा को समझने सुख व शांति का मार्ग अवश्य प्रशस्त हो जाता है।
विश्वविद्यालय के रजिस्ट्रार बिग्रेडियर समरवीर सिंह ने बधाई देते हुए प्रसन्नता व्यक्त की। डा. उल्लास गुरुदास, डा. दिनेश शर्मा ने विषय वस्तु को गंभीर व प्रेरणास्पद बताया। पुस्तक का विमोचन विश्वविद्यालय के विभागाध्यक्षों की सभा में किया गया। कार्यक्रम में सभी विभागों के अध्यक्ष उपस्थित रहे।
