World Yoga Day is being celebrated by Mangalayatan University’s Radio Narad and Simka Sanstha. The theme of the program has been kept as Yoga Vasudev Kodambakkam. The program will conclude on June 21 on World Yoga Day. Under the programme, students and professors benefit from yoga training.
Yoga teacher Bhavna Raj threw light on the importance of yoga in the yoga training program organized at Shipra Auditorium. He taught anulom antonyms, different types of pranayama, asanas and mudras. He told that yoga is an integral part of our life. Yoga needs to be adopted in daily life. In the current environment, there is a great need to increase immunity. Yoga keeps us away from diseases while developing our potential. Chief Guest DSW Director Prof. Siddharth Jain while stressing on the need of Yoga said that through such programs we motivate society to adopt Yoga. Head of Department Dr. Santosh Gautam appreciated the programme. The composition was done by RJ Veer Pratap Singh. Operation Yashika Gupta and gratitude was done by Mayank Jain. On this occasion Dr. Shagufta Parveen, Manisha Upadhyay, Coach Sartaj Khan, Yogesh Kaushik as well as students Gyanendra, Deepshikha, Deepika, Shivani, Khushbu, Satakshi supported.
