अलीगढ़। मंगलायतन विश्वविद्यालय में परिवहन विभाग व भारतीय चरित्र निर्माण संस्थान के तत्वाधान में अंतरराष्ट्रीय सामाजिक न्याय दिवस पर सड़क सुरक्षा लोक संवाद कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। विश्वविद्यालय के मुख्य सभागार में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में विद्यार्थियों को सड़क सुरक्षा के प्रति जागरुक करते हुए संकल्प दिलाया गया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ अतिथियों द्वारा मां सरस्वती के सामने दीप प्रज्जवलित कर किया।
मुख्य अतिथि आरटीओ फरीदउद्दीन ने कहा कि सड़क सुरक्षा नियमों की जानकारी रखने के बाद भी लोग नियमों का पालन नहीं करते। हेलमेट न लगाने व तेज रफ्तार के कारण 50 प्रतिशत दुर्घटनाएं दोपहिया वाहनों से होती हैं। यातायात नियमों का पालन करने से न केवल सड़क हादसों के बढ़ते ग्राफ में कमी आएगी बल्कि हम सुरक्षित घर भी पहुंच सकेंगे। देश में प्रतिदिन 424 लोगों की मृत्यु सड़क दुर्घटना में हो जाती है। यह बहुत की चिंता का विषय है, इसके लिए हम स्वयं ही जिम्मेदार हैं। यातायात नियमों का पालन करते हुए हम सड़क पर सुरक्षित रह सकते हैं। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता कर रहे कुलसचिव बिग्रे. समरवीर सिंह कहा कि चरित्र निर्माण ही शिक्षा का मुख्य उद्देश्य है। आज शिक्षा के उत्थान पर इस तरह से ध्यान दिया जाना चाहिए कि कल का जो नागरिक है उसके अंदर ऐसे गुण हो, ऐसी क्षमताएं हो जो सिर्फ राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर ही नहीं बल्कि अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर सामाजिक दूरिया, अंतर व द्वेष के बिना जाति व जेंडर से ऊपर उठकर समाज को जोड़ने का काम कर सके। सिर्फ पाठ्य सामग्री के पढ़ने से सर्वांगीण व्यक्तित्व विकास का उद्देश्य पूरा नहीं होगा। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि जागरुक होकर अकारण होने वाली सड़क दुर्घटनाओं से बचा जा सकता है। मुख्य वक्ता भारतीय चरित्र निर्माण संस्था के अध्यक्ष रामकृष्ण गोस्वामी ने कहा कि सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में बढ़ती मौतें मानव अधिकारों, सामाजिक व प्रादेशिक, राष्ट्रीय व अंतरराष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा विकास के लिए गंभीर चुनौती है। मन पर नियंत्रण और कर्म, अकर्म व विकर्म विवेक की शिक्षा युवाओं को देकर ही हम सड़क दुर्घटनाओं को नियंत्रित कर सकते हैं।
कार्यक्रम में विद्यार्थियों को डाक्यूमेंटी फिल्म के माध्यम से भी सड़क सुरक्षा के प्रति जागरुक किया गया। प्रशासनिक अधिकारी गोपाल राजपूत ने आभार व्यक्त किया। संचालन एनएसएस समन्वयक प्रो. सिद्धार्थ जैन ने किया। इस अवसर पर प्रो. जयंती लाल जैन, डा. हैदर अली, डा. अशोक उपाध्याय, डा. ममता रानी, डा. रेखा रानी, लव मित्तल, मोहित, मानू आदि उपस्थित रहे। अंत में कार्यक्रम संयोजक व अतिथियों को प्रतीक चिन्ह देकर सम्मानित किया गया। राष्ट्रगान के साथ कार्यक्रम का समापन हुआ।
