मंगलायतन विश्वविद्यालय में भगवान धन्वंतरि का अवतरण दिवस आयुर्वेदिक मेडिकल एंड रिसर्च सेंटर द्वारा आयुर्वेद दिवस के रूप में मनाया। इस दौरान आयुर्वेद के जनक कहे जाने वाले भगवान धन्वंतरि की पूजा अर्चना की गई।
कुलपति प्रो. केवीएसएम कृष्णा, कुलसचिव प्रो. दिनेश शर्मा, निर्देशक प्रो. बैंकट वीपीआरपी, डीन एकेडमिक प्रो. उल्लास गुरुदास, एफओ मनोज गुप्ता, प्राचार्या डा. कुमुदनी पवार ने भगवान धन्वंतरि की पूजा की। डा. पीसी शुक्ला ने विधि विधान से पूजन संपन्न कराया और भगवान धन्वंतरि के अवतरण से लेकर आयुर्वेद की जीवन में उपयोगिता पर विस्तार से जानकारी दी। कुलपति ने कार्यक्रम के आयोजन पर प्रसन्नता व्यक्त करते हुए जीवन में आयुर्वेद को महत्वपूर्ण बताया। इसके बाद गांव मौहकमपुर में शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। जिसमें ग्रामीणों को वर्तमान में बदलती जीवनशैली में आयुर्वेद की आवश्यकता पर विस्तार से जानकारी प्रदान की गई। डा. पीसी शुक्ला व डा. श्याम ने घर व आसपास मौजूद औषधियों व उनके उपयोग की जानकारी प्रदान की। उन्होंने बताया कि आयुर्वेद विज्ञान के साथ जीवन जीने की कला है। इस मौके पर डा. प्रियंका, डा. नीरज कुमार, डा. अजय कुमार गौड़, डा. विष्णु के., नितिन कांत कुलश्रेष्ठ, डा. रेखा रानी, राघवेंद्र सारस्वत, रामभुवन, पूर्व प्रधान बबलू सिंह, नोबिल चौधरी, ममता, मनीष यादव, सूर्य प्रताप सिंह आदि थे।
