वर्तमान परिस्थितियों में करियर में सफलता प्राप्त करनी है तो सिर्फ डिग्री पर्याप्त नहीं है। डिग्री के साथ स्किल्स का होना बहुत जरूरी है। यदि सॉफ्ट स्किल्स बेहतर हो तो कार्यक्षेत्र में सकारात्मक के साथ आगे बढ़ा जा सकता है। सॉफ्ट स्किल को जितना चमकाएंगे यह बेहतर होता जाएगा। इसी को ध्यान में रखते हुए शुक्रवार को मंगलायतन विश्वविद्यालय में नव प्रवेशित विद्यार्थियों के लिए सॉफ्ट स्किल्स प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम हुआ। कार्यक्रम का आयोजन इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मैनेजमेंट एंड कॉमर्स (आईबीएमसी) व करियर एडवांसमेंट सेल (सीएसी) द्वारा किया गया था।
प्रशिक्षक दिलीप दत्त वाष्र्णेय ने विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि स्किल्स दो प्रकार की होती है सॉफ्ट स्किल्स व हार्ड स्किल्स। दोनों स्किल्स को मिलाकर बनती है पर्सनालिटी। चलना, उठना, बैठना, बात करना, सोचना आदि सॉफ्ट स्किल्स हैं। इसमें कम्यूनिकेशन सबसे महत्वपूर्ण भाग है। उन्होंने वर्तमान युग में सॉफ्ट स्किल्स की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया। द्वितीय सत्र में प्रशिक्षक अमित शर्मा ने विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित करते हुए सॉफ्ट स्किल्स के महत्व पर चर्चा की। उन्होंने बताया कि सॉफ्ट स्किल्स जीवन के विभिन्न आयामों में सफलता के लिए आवश्यक दक्षताओं को प्राप्त करने की सुविधा प्रदान करता है। कार्यक्रम संयोजक व विभागाध्यक्ष प्रो. राजीव शर्मा ने बताया कि यह प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम विद्यार्थियों के लिए व्यक्तिगत व पेशेवर विकास में सहायक सिद्ध होगा। कुलपति प्रो. पीके दशोरा, कुलसचिव बिग्रेडियर समरवीर सिंह, परीक्षा नियंत्रक प्रो. दिनेश शर्मा व डीन एकेडमिक प्रो. अब्दुल वदूद ने कार्यक्रम के आयोजन पर प्रसन्नता व्यक्त की। इससे पूर्व प्रशिक्षकों को स्वागत किया गया। सह संयोजक प्रो. सिद्धार्थ जैन, समन्वयक राजेश पंचासरा रहे। संचालन सह समन्वयक डा. नियति शर्मा ने किया। इस अवसर पर प्रो. अनुराग शाक्य, प्रो. अंकुर अग्रवाल, डा. उन्नति जादौन, डा. राजीव रंजन, डा. शालू अग्रवाल, डा. अरसलान आदि उपस्थित रहे।
