Use of plastic causes fatal disease like cancer

In Mangalayatan University, on the occasion of World Environment Day, a program was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering on the topic of impact of plastic pollution on the environment. The main speaker was Dr. Saifullah Khan, Department of Civil Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University.

The chief speaker said that every citizen should follow the schemes implemented by the government on the prevention of plastic pollution. While administering oath to the students, he said that instead of using plastic bags in future, use bags made of jute. Because due to excessive use of plastic, the environment is polluted and fatal diseases like blood pressure, cancer spread. Dean of Research and Development Prof. Ravikant said that the thing which we reject is pollution. Today, along with humans, animals are also forced to swallow plastic. Pro. Mahesh Kumar said that plastic was invented for convenience but gradually it has become a canker for the environment. Director Research Prof. Ashok Purohit said that today plastic pollution is a serious problem. Earlier people used brass, copper and earthen utensils for food and drink. Head of the Department Dr. Harit Priyadarshi said that there is a need to seriously discuss about the production and disposal of plastic. Coordinator Wasim Ahmed Khan expressed gratitude. Mohsin, Prerna, Mukul etc. presented their views among the students. Vice Chancellor Prof. on organizing the program. PK Dashora, Registrar Bige. Samarveer Singh, Controller of Examinations Prof. Dinesh Sharma, Administrative Officer Gopal Rajput, Dean Academics Prof. Abdul Wadud Siddiqui, IET Director Prof. KP Singh sent best wishes. On this occasion Prof. Pramod Kumar, Dr. Haider Ali, Dr. Vikas Sharma, Dr. Mamta Rani, Jitendra Yadav, Dr. Rajesh Upadhyay, Naseem Khan, Muniram Kuntal, Bhupendra Kumar etc. were there. Operation was done by Naina Chauhan, Prerna Aggarwal and Sanjana Raghav.
